 Children's Missions Day

CMD_edited_edited.jpg

Children’s Missions Day is a yearly emphasis in February that challenges churches to involve their children in hands on mission opportunities.  Children learn by doing. We help children develop a missional lifestyle by helping them “put their love into action” (1 John 3:18) with opportunities to serve in their community. Click the link below to see the resources that National WMU provides for planning your own Children’s Missions Day.

While Alabama WMU does not play a direct role in Children's Missions Day, we plan Children’s Missions Explosion (CME) every other year in February around this time. Our next Children’s Missions Explosion will be in 2021. CME is an interactive day for children and leaders to touch and taste new cultures as we learn about missions. Children will meet missionaries from Alabama, North America and throughout the world. This event challenges children to be missionaries to their neighbors and friends right here at home.
